Word count drives every downstream decision
The numbers you paste into KDP, your cover calculator, and your royalty estimate all start from word count. A 40,000-word novel and a 90,000-word epic produce different trim sizes, print costs, and page counts — deciding them before you upload avoids a rebuild.
