ShipMyBook privacy policy
We collect the information needed to operate private publishing workspaces, deliver purchases, secure accounts, and improve the service.
Information we process
We process account email, authentication records, project details, uploaded source files, generated outputs, order and entitlement records, support messages, and limited usage or security events.
Free DOCX and EPUB checks run in the browser unless you explicitly upload a file into a paid workspace.
Processors and purposes
Cloudflare provides application, database, and object-storage infrastructure; Stripe processes payment data through pay.yito.ai; ZeptoMail sends essential account and transaction emails; Google Analytics and a self-hosted Plausible Analytics instance (click.pageview.click) provide site measurement where enabled.
Google and other advertising or measurement vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and receive device or IP information when their services are enabled. Google explains how it uses information from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We do not sell manuscripts or payment data. We do not use uploaded books to train public models.
Retention, control, and contact
One-book source versions are kept for at least the stated 60-day window and, for an accepted human release, through 30 days after a later SLA. Active work is never selected by the scheduled source cleanup. Once an expired, inactive source is atomically marked for deletion, later reactivation cannot restore that version. Legal, security, dispute, or account needs may require longer retention. Subscription workspaces retain active project data while the service is active.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting contact@shipmybook.com. Some billing and security records must be retained for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.
