KDP payment methods: supported banks by country, and the services that fill the gaps.

Every marketplace pays into bank accounts from a supported country list. Authors outside the list use a payment service — this page maps both paths.

The bank list changes by marketplace

Each KDP marketplace maintains its own list of countries eligible for direct bank payment. The list is not global: a bank accepted for the US store is not automatically accepted for the UK store.

Check the Payment Settings for each marketplace you publish in, before you count on the payout.

Payment services fill the gaps

Where direct bank transfer is not available, KDP offers payment through services such as Payoneer and Hyperwallet. The service receives the royalty and forwards it to your local account.

  • Payoneer: widely used across Latin America, Africa, and Asia
  • Hyperwallet: offered in selected marketplaces and regions
  • The accepted service list is shown in your Payment Settings

Verify before you publish

A missing payment method does not stop sales — it stops payouts. Set and verify the method before launch so the first payment is not the moment you discover the gap.

Frequently asked questions

My country is not in the bank list — what now?

Use the payment service offered for your marketplace, typically Payoneer or Hyperwallet. The available options appear in Payment Settings after you add a marketplace.

Can I change my bank after publishing?

Yes. Add or change the method in Payment Settings. Expect a short verification period before the new method starts receiving payments.

Does Amazon pay into digital banks?

Acceptance varies by region and by the specific service. If a digital bank is not listed, route through an accepted payment service instead of risking a rejected payout.
