Does editing an AI draft remove the disclosure?
No. If the tool created the content, Amazon still expects the AI-generated disclosure. Editing improves the book; it does not change how it was produced.
What if only the cover used AI?
If an AI tool created the cover image, disclose the images part as AI-generated and answer the text part truthfully. If you created the image and AI only helped refine it, KDP says no disclosure is required for that assisted use.
Is this tool legal advice?
