For translated and non-English books

A language-first path before you pay for a second cover.

Translation does not mint a KDP listing. If the language is missing from Amazon's table, print a second cover in Korean and you still have nowhere to upload.

Who this path is for

You have an English book to translate, or you wrote in Spanish, Hindi, Japanese, or another listed language. You want to know the door before hiring a proofreader.

Kindle Translate is not every language

The published beta pairs English with Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. Korean and Simplified Chinese still need local platforms.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Should I machine-translate into 20 languages?

No. Launch one proven book, then Spanish or Portuguese, with a native pass. Twenty raw machine editions create twenty 2-star listings.

Do I need a new metadata set per language?

Yes. Keywords, categories, and cover type must be native, not a pasted English blurb.

Can Fanqie take my AI Chinese novel?

No. Fanqie and Qidian ban AI body text. We will not add an uploader.

Language fits? Put the translated file through preflight.

A supported language still fails on bleed, EPUB, and metadata.
