What if the same error keeps coming back after I fix it?
Move the diagnosis up a layer. Rerun the decoder with the new error text; if it returns the same class of issue, the problem is usually not the file but the metadata, the browser, or a stale version of the manuscript. Fix one layer at a time, keep the file version in the error report, and after the third identical pass, contact KDP support with the file type and version instead of re-uploading blind.
